Well, on Wednesday April 23rd Denbighshire County Council planners approved our ground improvement plan. The decision was passed at 10.05am and a phone call back to the ground saw our gang of workers and contractors start erecting the lights at 10.10am - true! The reason we had to make such an immediate start was that the Welsh Premier League refused us an extension to the May 1st grading deadline so we've got just eight days to get the lights up and working, install 200 additional seats and build a turnstile block as well as create a treatment room and press box'. 'Ground enthusiasts can follow our Challenge-Anneka (remember that show?) type progress by logging on to www.prestatyntownfootballclub.co.uk where a daily photo blog-cum-progress report will be added each evening. Go the 'Galleries' page and open Ground Improvements. Any words of encouragement from groundhoppers or clubs who've undertaken similar challenges are more than welcome to leave a post on our Fans Forum! This includes all of our much valued regular correspondents as well as those who have responded less frequently. To all of you it really is very much appreciated! By the end of March we received 221 reports which is exactly 30 more than at the same time last season (and 17 up on 2005-2006). We may even reach our record number of TT reports (278) before the end of 2007-2008. With only a few weeks left now keep those reports coming...
