Playing at Welwyn playing fields just off the A1. This venue is also home to Lemsford F.C. of the Herts Senior County League. The pitch is one of the best in the area.

This morning was made extra busy with two junior matches taking place at the same venue as well, hence the full car when I arrived five minutes before kick-off!

Probably one of the best Churches league games I've seen so far. Two teams determined to challenge for every ball and committed to attack in search of goals. Welwyn took the lead in the first half from the penalty spot and looked like holding on despite increasing pressure for Three Churches in the second half. A late equaliser in the second was followed by almost a even later winner for the visitors that unluckily for them struck the woodwork. Pity about an over zealous referee that used his yellow cards over frequently during the game.
