Bury Town arrived late probably caused by the Bank Holiday traffic and the kick off was delayed. They then caused a defensive jam for Maidstone, that the home side struggled to breach.

During the first half the referee suffered an injury and was unable to carry on. After a lengthy delay a club official took over the line until half time.

In the second half, much of the same but Bury had two good chances before Maidstone broke the deadlock on 63 minutes with a Jamie Coyle header. Not much else to report, good vocal crowd, shame they didn't have a more exciting game to watch. Eventually finished 5.16pm.
