I missed out on visiting Lutterworth last season, so decided to venture up the M1 for a visit this season. Directions are easy leaving the M1 at junction 20, at the next roundabout turn right onto the A426, follow this through the town. Just on the outskirts turn left at the clearly marked "football ground" signs and the ground is on the left.

The ground is on a complex containing tennis courts, 3G pitches and a what looks like a day nursery. Plenty of parking when I got there but it soon filled up with all the activities including a wedding happening on the site. The dressing rooms, bar and refreshments are all located in a two floor brick building next to the ground. Entrance to the ground is via one turnstile next to dressing room building. The ground is neat and tidy fully enclosed with seated stand on the opposite side of the entrance. This stand also includes the "dugouts" and committee seating in the centre which must lead to some interesting banter at times!

The game itself was ok but Potton will be kicking themselves for not taking advantage of a bright opening. They then allowed the home to score twice from corners before the break. The second half was pretty much of a stalemate but another defensive error saw the home side score again with just a few minutes remaining.
