Matchday images (75) https://picasaweb.google.com/footballgroundsinfocus/AltonTownFC05   I've been meaning to visit Alton Town for a couple of seasons now and despite yesterday's weather thought the time was right.   The ground is situated just five minutes walk from Alton railway station which was fine for me after arriving in the rain! This could well be the last season at this venue as things are looking good, but not yet definite, on a move across the road with new facilities for next season. More definite news by the end of October.   The score line had a one sided look to it, but this could not be further than truth. Alton certainly had plenty of possession but committed the cardinal sin of giving the ball away when well placed and also in dangerous areas in their own half that resulted in goal scoring chances for the visitors, which they gladly accepted! The weather as on cue brightened for the start of the game. Indeed the rain stopped and sun made an appearance.
