Yesterday I decided to give the Beds Hop a miss as I had visited all the grounds before. I did decide however to take in a Bedfordshire League ground that I had not visited previously.

My choice was a Division One fixture between League leaders Henlow FC, who held a 100% record, and Queens Park Crescents. Henlow play at the Henlow recreation ground, Groveside, not that far from where SSML side Langford's Forde Park is located. The recreation ground is also the home of the cricket club and a bowling green makes up the complex sports wise. A brand new and impressive pavilion is currently under construction. When finally open this should replace the portacabin dressing rooms currently in use.

The game itself was disappointing and the home side eventually ran out 1-0 winners thanks to 55th goal from Keith Milburn.
