A few week ago I covered Flitwick's game against Sharnbrook on the 3G pitch at Redbourne Upper School. I was therefore surprised to be back at Flitwick so soon to cover the first team game at their new home, The Flitwick Community Football Centre.

The centre is situated just off the A507. From the Ampthill / Flitwick roundabout turn left towards Flitwick and the entrance is on the left just after a garage on the right hand side. The centre has a few pitches marked out and the game took took on one of the outer ones. Refreshments are available in a comfortable lounge within the main building.

Onto the game itself where the visitors were the League leaders, Renhold United. By half time they had established a 2-0 over the hosts despite the home side have probably the better chances. In the second half a couple of early goals from Renhold took the game beyond the Flitwick side and they went onto win by a score line of 6-0.
